It’s been a couple of weeks since I bought my large Louis Vuitton planner and I’ve been busy buying inserts and other cute stationary accessories to decorate it up. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of those planner obsessives – as much as I would like a beautifully decorated planner complete with stickers and brightly coloured diary entries, that just realistically isn’t going to happen with my hectic lifestyle.
Instead, I favour cute but low maintenance pieces that are as pretty as they are functional. I’ve been pleasantly surprised to find that Paperchase has been a veritable goldmine of cute items – many of them from the Filofax range. For the Large LV agenda, the Filofax A5 inserts fit perfectly – it’s important to note that this particular planner has 6 ring binders which not all A5 planners do.
I took advantage of this perfect fit and also bought the coloured note paper, regular notepaper and to do list pages – all of which I’m loving. My darling little inserts I bought from the Etsy shop Cute Organising which I could not recommend more. Not only are they fantastic quality but the price is also insanely good for a customised piece (you can choose your own tabs!). Other agenda highlights include some super cute mermaid post its and some inspirational post cards – also bought from Paperchase.
In terms of the actual agenda itself – despite the exorbitant price tag, Louis Vuitton did good. It’s beautifully made and really does feel like a classic piece that’ll last forever. Yes, £450 is a silly amount of money to spend on a stationary item, but when compared to a wallet, the pricing seems pretty standard and dare I say it, easier to digest. Not sure how it’ll hold up over time but I’m really looking forward to using it more and finding out!
And in case you’re wondering about the Anya Hindmarch leather stickers and missed my post on them, you can learn more here :).
Thank you so much for reading/ watching!
P.S. You’ll notice that the inside of my agenda looks a little different in the pictures to in the video – I photographed my agenda about 10 days ago so I didn’t have all my inserts then. If I get a chance this weekend, I’ll try and take some updated photos.
Hi Amie, I'm looking in to a Louis Vuitton agenda myself (birthday is coming up 😉 ). Do you have any experience with the PM-size? I really need one to pack with me on a daily basis in my handbags. Love the decorating you did with it 🙂 XO Saar.
Unfortunately not, I've only owned this size. I think it just comes down to how much space you'll need for writing – if you're fine with smaller, then I'm sure the PM will be a great size 🙂
Hi Aimee! Love your channel and your blog! I'm a big fan. You've influenced a few of my purchases and I really value your reviews! Do you think the stickers would do any damage on the agenda if I ever wanted to remove the stickers from the LV agenda?
