Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Home Picks + Giveaway Winner

We’re just two months away from our move and I have undoubtedly replaced wedding planning with decorating! I was slightly dreading the prospect of another huge project just before the wedding but now that we’re on the other side, I’m actually loving it. It turns out decorating a flat is nowhere near as stressful as planning a wedding and it’s been so nice to take the time to pick things out without too much of a time crunch.

We’re not moving very far but the next place is a fair bit bigger which is much needed. Truth be told, we thought we’d be in our current flat a lot longer but circumstances changed and this move made sense to do this year instead. We’re taking some of our furniture that we currently have but are buying quite a bit new (I just placed an order for our new sofa – bizarrely nerve racking!). We definitely decorated our current place on the cheap after putting a large chunk of our money into buying it a couple of years ago so with our next place, we’re investing a bit more in some nice bits of furniture that will hopefully last us a bit longer!

With that being said, I still love a good bargain and have featured some of my favourite home picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I didn’t actually realise that Nordstrom did homeware until recently which is ridiculous considering how much I shop there but I guess I always just make a beeline for the clothes! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to pick up a deal on some beautiful homeware – and best of all, it isn’t even nearly as competitive as the clothes 🙂

I may have placed a second order upon this discovery – after receiving my Barefoot Dreams Cardigan, I couldn’t resist the throw version. I have totally fallen in love with this fabric and almost want it to be cold to use it! I also got this tissue holder – probably the least exciting purchase ever but I just got a new desk (this one here) which I am so in love with and now my less-than-pretty tissue boxes are bothering me in a way they never have before haha. I’m assuming this is how an home decor addiction starts 😉
