Singles Day is becoming bigger and bigger and this year, with many retailers going live with their sales early – it seems like Singles Day has become a huge focus for online stores. Many of my favourites are doing huge sales – and happily – blanket discounts!

Especially when it comes to luxury, Singles Day tends to have more blanket discounts than Black Friday – i.e. a discount code sitewide rather than a clearance so it’s a great time to snag items that wouldn’t usually be included in clearance sales.

I’m still planning on doing my Black Friday coverage this year – although I think this year the deals are going to be much more spread out over the entire month as a result of Covid and the various lockdowns that are happening around the world. Cettire are having the most enormous sale for Singles Day where you can nab up to 40% off a huge selection of items. There are pages upon pages of items (as in… 460 pages!), so definitely a good one to browse with a cup of tea!

Cettire is based in Australia so if you’re shopping from within Australia, the deals are particularly good. If you’re shopping from the US, then there are also a ton of great deals to be had – and like other luxury retailers, they do calculate all taxes at checkout, so no surprises upon delivery.

For the UK, luxury goods are generally cheaper here so once you add the tax on, not everything works out cheaper. There are still some deals to be had (Mulberry bags seem particularly great value – even with the added taxes) but you do have to do a bit more digging!
