If you’d have asked me two months ago if £70 was a reasonable amount to spend on stickers, the answer would have been a resounding no. And yet here I am, just having spent £70 on two stickers. That’s right. Not a truckload, or even twenty or thirty stickers but two. Um… what?
Such is the power of Anya Hindmarch. Her latest collection – full of quirky, whimsical designs – had me at hello. I was sorely tempted by her ebury tote, featuring an adorable speech bubble with the words ‘I love it! What is it?’ etched in it but ultimately had to pass (I may or may not have blown my entire handbag budget at Chanel…). I continued to eye up her Sticker Shop collection though – full of darling little permanent leather stickers with quirky phrases and symbols.
So, when I saw that YouTuber Jenn G had decorated her Louis Vuitton agenda with initial stickers from the Anya Hindmarch line, I was in love… The LV agenda had been on my wishlist for a while and I loved the combo of the classic monogram and cartoon-like stickers. Only problem was that my letters were sold out both at the AH boutique, online and at Selfridges. Fortunately, I stumbled upon an in-stock selection at super chic maternity clothing company Nine in the Mirror and promptly snapped them up!
I’m still waiting on my agenda – they are surprisingly hard to track down in the UK but I’m excited to start decorating when I do!
