Tomorrow is the start of the Sephora VIB Sale and while I posted what I bought during the Rouge sale last weekend, I thought I would share some of my beauty essentials that I always like to stock up on when a sale comes around. These are all items that I’ve purchased and used already; most I have repurchased multiple times! I’m definitely someone that is loyal to a product if I find it works and all of the above have inspired the fiercest loyalty in me 🙂
NARS
NARS probably ranks as my favourite beauty brand as you can probably tell by my image! I don’t buy eyeshadows a lot from them which is why I sometimes don’t give them the credit they deserve (I love a good eyeshadow palette!) but so many of my must have products are from NARS. The creamy concealer is still the best blemish coverer I have ever used, the smudgeproof eyeshadow primer is HG territory for me, whilst my blush routine has been drastically improved by this gorgeous blush in Deep Throat and this pricey-but-oh-so-worth-it brush. Finally their lipstick in dolce vita is an essential for anyone that likes a nude lip – the prettiest, most sophisticated colour.
Kat Von D
I wear liquid eyeliner every single day and have tried out a fair few of them. The liquid eyeliner from Kat Von D is comfortably my favourite; easy to apply, stays all day and is super black. Just perfect – I must have gone through 10 tubes already.
Highlighters
I love this highlighter from Becca; I own the single compact version and the palette version. The prettiest highlighter which has surely reserved its place as the best YouTube beauty guru collab ever. Next up is a new addition but one I thought was worth of mentioning. The Hourglass palette had completely lived up to hype – a truly gorgeous palette both inside and out. Even if you own some of the other ambient powders (like I do), I still think this is worth getting.
Armani
I’ve been using the Armani Luminous Silk foundation for a couple of years now and I haven’t looked back. It’s easy to apply, gives nice coverage but still lets your natural skin show through. I constantly see this in articles where Beauty Editors and Experts share what’s in their makeup bags and I can absolutely see why. Highly recommend.
Burberry
Finally, I wanted to mention Burberry eyeshadows which I discovered by accident when trying to hunt down a colour dupe for a discontinued Too Faced colour. All the ones I’ve tried have been amazingly pigmented in utterly wearable shades. I have a few singles which are great but this combination Eyeshadow Quad is perfect and wonderfully wearable. Worth the splurge.
If you’re curious about gift sets, then I share my pick of the best bunch in this video (where you can also enter a giveaway to win some of them!):
And that’s it for my picks! Let me know what you ordered – I’d love to hear 🙂
The VIB sale runs through until 14th November – use 20VIB for 20% off!
